Professional Experience
I have helped many adults, adolescents, children, and parents over the last three decades.
After completing medical school, I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, my child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester, New York, and my Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University, School of Medicine.
Clinical Professor
I am also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Stanford University School of Medicine. I have taught and supervised medical students, psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows and psychoanalytic candidates.
Supervising Psychoanalyst and Child Analytic Supervisor
I am a training and Supervising Psychoanalyst Faculty member and geographic Child Analytic Supervisor at San Francisco Psychoanalytic Center for Psychoanalysis.
Committee Chair and Member
I chair the Child Abuse project of international Psychoanalytic Association and am a member of Committee on Women Psychoanalysts of IPA.
